MFA Graduate at Breadloaf

Former Pinch Managing Editor, Tiegst Ameha, who graduated in 2021, was a participant in the 2023 Breadloaf Writer’s Conference. This prestigious conference is considered the oldest in the country. Fewer than 20 percent of writers who apply are accepted into the week-long program.

Tiegst is a writer living in Memphis, Tennessee. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Memphis. Her work was shortlisted for the Masters Review's 2021 Flash Fiction Contest & longlisted for the Fractured Lit Ghost, Fable, and Fairy Tales Prize. She recently attended the Iowa Writers' Workshop Summer Session and is currently working as a Digital Marketing Content Specialist for Evolve Bank and Trust,
